Ethiopian Airlines (Addis Ababa) announced it launched new regional service to Khartoum from Bahir-Dar, the capital of the Amhara region and Tigray’s Mekele to Khartoum on October 13 according to the Sudan Tribune. The new routes are operated by Bombardier DHC-8-402s (Q400s), four times a week.
In addition, the flag carrier will fly to the Seychelles three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays starting on November 15 with its Boeing 737 aircraft.
